Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Pilot (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. What Pilot does
Pilot is an AI assistant that learns your brand and drafts, schedules, and publishes social-media posts to the accounts you connect (e.g. Facebook Page, Instagram Business, LinkedIn). Pilot acts on your behalf using the access you grant via each platform's OAuth.
3. Accounts & eligibility
Access is invite-only while in beta and each account is reviewed by an admin. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must meet the minimum age and eligibility requirements of the platforms you connect.
4. Your content & connected accounts
You retain ownership of your brand information and the content you publish. You grant Pilot permission to generate drafts from your inputs and to publish content to the accounts you connect, until you disconnect them or delete your account. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to connect those accounts and post to them, and for complying with the terms and policies of Meta, LinkedIn, and any other connected platform.
5. AI-generated content & your review
Pilot generates posts automatically and runs an automated safety check before publishing, but you are responsible for what is posted to your accounts. By default Pilot runs on autopilot: posts that pass the safety check are published on your chosen schedule without further review. You can preview, edit, skip, or regenerate each upcoming post beforehand, and a post that fails the safety check is never auto-published. You accept responsibility for what Pilot posts on your behalf. AI output may contain errors; review it before relying on it.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Pilot to publish unlawful, deceptive, infringing, hateful, or harmful content, to spam, to impersonate others, or to violate any connected platform's policies. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Plans & billing
Paid plans (when available) are billed through our payment provider on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the Plan page; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
8. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the availability or policies of third-party platforms, or for content published from your account. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your data at any time (see Data Deletion). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
10. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. Questions? support@pilotsmm.com. See also our Privacy Policy.
